The Vancouver Food Blog has teamed up with Nan’s Gourmet Food catalogs to offer a new way to find food in the city.
Nan’s launched the Nan’s Guide to Food in Vancouver in the fall of 2017, and the guide’s goal is to offer information about restaurants and food-related events, while also helping consumers make a more informed decision about food in their neighbourhood.
“There are a lot of restaurants that are really out of reach, but the Nan Guide will give you a great place to start,” said Nan’s VP of marketing and community.
“It’s a really comprehensive guide, so it’s definitely a good place to jump in.”
For the new Nan’s guide, the Vancouver Food blog partnered with Nan-owned Nan’s Market, Nan’s Kitchen and Nan’s Gastropub to create a database of over 500 restaurants and grocery stores in Vancouver.
In order to make this resource as comprehensive as possible, the Nan-hosted website partnered with food writer and food blogger Erin Dennison to provide a full list of each restaurant.
“This guide is based on my research, so I’m not going to say what the food is, because it’s not that simple,” said Dennion.
“But what I will say is that the recipes I’ve seen on the Nan website are great.”
For example, Nan-published recipes for Nan’s Cheeseburger, Nan and the Nan Sandwich, Nan Restaurant, Nan Tuna and Nan Sushi.
The Nan Guide also features recipes from Nan’s Chicken and Nan Poutine.
“I love these recipes,” said Erin.
“Nan’s Cheeeburger is a great one, and Nan-Nan Poutine is really, really good.
Nan Sashimi is also really, very good.
They have a really great range of chicken and tofu recipes.
It’s really cool to find recipes that I love, but I don’t know what to do with them. “
You can also find great recipes for everything from tofu rolls to grilled chicken wings.
It has a really good flavour, and I think it would be good to make something like that for my husband.””
I also really love the Nan Tzu and Nan Choy recipe.
It has a really good flavour, and I think it would be good to make something like that for my husband.”
While some of the Nan food recipes are simple to make, others require more effort.
For example, the chef in Nan’s Nan’s Sushi is known for using a lot more water than most chefs, so the Nan Nan Sandwich requires a lot less salt than the Nan Sushimi.
“The Nan Nan Suck sandwich is actually really good,” said the Nan chef.
“The chef has this recipe for a Nan Sinkie sandwich, which is basically a dish that you put some tofu in a can, then pour the water into a pot, then stir the can, and then the tofu is sitting there, and it’s kind of crispy.
“So, I think that’s one recipe that’s a little difficult to make.””
The Nan Guide is available for free online and through Nan’s outlets. “

The guide is also available to view in print at Nan’s restaurants and in Nan-branded Nan’s grocery stores.
Nan will be offering the NanGuide at its restaurants and Nan shops from September 25 to October 15.
The nanguide.com website will also offer the guide as a downloadable PDF for those who prefer to download it for their own use.
In addition to the Nan guide, Nan will also be hosting a Nan’s Taste of Vancouver event on October 18.
The event is part of the city’s first-ever Nan’s geeks and food festival, and is scheduled for noon to 5pm on October 19 at Nan Food Gallery, 100 King George Street, Vancouver.
The tasting menu will feature two dishes by Nan and Nan restaurant chef Peter Tarrant, as well as Nan’s favourite dishes from the Nan gourmet Food Guide.
